Winged Love and Poem

This work of art consists of one limited edition 8.5" x 11" print of a pencil drawing of a winged woman representing love displayed over a poem by the artist on archival cotton paper which reads: I first met her when I was young, much younger than I a am today. Uncertain of what to say or do or think I simply reacted as young people do. She's flown away and come back two or three or four times or more and each time the moments shared were exciting and amazing and up and down and rich in things to be learned. Now within me time has replaced reaction with understanding, a thing that was fleeting in my younger years. And wisdom has grown with empathy and voice, readying me for when she flies through again. It comes encased in a black frame with protective glass over a white mat. The frame size is 13" x 17".
